Rev. Reece Anderson,
husband of Wilma Jenette Jolley Anderson, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010. He was an 84 year old native of Powell County, son of the late Will and Mattie Lee Grooms Anderson, an Army veteran of WWII, retired minister after 25 years, a farmer and retired Board of Education member, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Church of God. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Audrey (Gene) Jones of Jeffersonville, 3 sons, Charles (Pam) Anderson, Lonnie (Alice) Anderson, of Jeffersonville and Timothy (Sherry) Anderson of Mt. Sterling, 13 grandchildren, David Anderson, Jason Bowen, Laura Butcher, Courtney LeBrun, Reece (Dora) Anderson, Jenny (Ethan) Howell, Phillip (Berlinda) Stockdale, Charles Gary Jones, Haley Anderson, Riley Anderson, BJ Frederick, Tyler Frederick, Kala Frederick, 9 great-grandchildren, Jordon and Timmy Butcher, Caitlin andd Ashton Anderson, Hayden (Rooster) Howell, Mikayla and Peyton Stockdale, Clay and Carli Beanir, a sister, Mildred Prather and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Greenville, Earl and Sherdon Anderson, and 2 sisters, Pearl Patton and Kelly Jolly. His funeral will be 1:00 Tuesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Willoughby Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9:00 Monday
