Ms. Suella Arnett, 92, of Madisonville, KY, formerly of Paducah, KY, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at 7:20 P.M. at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville.
Born September 1, 1914, in Mayfield, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ernest & Vivian Clark Morgan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Morgan and Jimmy Morgan and a sister, Effie May Allen.
She was a member of Fountain Avenue Methodist Church in Paducah, KY. She worked at Baptist Hospital in Paducah and at nursing homes in Calvert City, KY, as a nurse's aide. She had been a Red Cross Volunteer.
She is survived by her son, Perry Arnett of Madisonville; four sisters, Dorothy Bazell of Murray, KY, Alline Savage of Ocean Springs, MS, Ernestine Henry of South Fulton, TN, and Jean Warren of Wingo, KY; three brothers, Ronald Morgan, Glen Morgan and James Earl Morgan of Wingo; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one step-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 8, 2006, at 11:00 A.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Cemetery in Hanson, KY.
Visitation will be Friday from 8:30 A.M. until the service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tony Arnett, Keith Arnett, Perry J. Arnett, Ronald Morgan, Glen Morgan and James Earl Morgan.
