He was born in Florala, Ala. He moved to Gulf County as a young man and was retired from St. Joe Paper Company as a millwright for 45½ years. Foy was a faithful member at Glad Tidings Assembly and Port St. Joe Masonic Lodge 111.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Adams; one son, Steve "Boog" Adams; one daughter, Ann Harper and her husband, Glenn, of Meridian, Miss.; two brothers, Gene Adams and his wife, Judy, and Joel Adams, all of Crestview, Fla.; one sister, Selma Cosson and husband, James, of Crestview, Fla.; three grandchildren, Deni Findley, Monica Feliciano and Bill Harper II; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. today, Sept. 26, 2005, at Glad Tidings Assembly with Pastor Joey Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Cemetery. Masonic Lodge 111 will open one hour prior to services. The following gentlemen are asked to serve as pallbearers: Lee Fontaine, Allen Lowrey, Mike Burkett, P.C. Walker, Lloyd Alford and Eddie Price. Honorary pallbearers are the St. Joe Paper Company Maintenance Millwright Department. Southerland Family Funeral Homes 100 E. 19th St. Panama City, Fla. 32405.
