Albert Lee Burden, 77, of Florence, died Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.

He was a retired security guard with East Bend Power Plant and Cinergy, and a member of Violet Ridge Church of Christ, Crittenden.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Jean Cotton Burden; daughters, Sherry Dalton of Florence and Carol Menefee of Verona; a sister, Jean Benton of Sarasota, Fla.; brothers, Prentis Burden of Sarasota, Bill Burden of Berry and Jim Burden of Walton; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Violet Ridge Church of Christ, 1000 Violet Ridge Road, Crittenden, Ky. 41030; or the charity of the donor's choice.
