Services for Charles Edward Baker of Pawnee will be at Bisch Memorial Home. Burial will be in Berlin Cemetery. Mr. Baker, 86, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital. A farmer in Sangamon County for 52 years, Mr. Baker was born in White County, Ill., the son of Isaac and Delilah Cook Baker. He was a member of Baptist Church and Farm Bureau. Mr. and Mrs. Baker celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on May 4, 1969.

Surviving are four sons and seven daughters; one sister, Mrs. Rosetta Carter; 46 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
