OKEECHOBEE, Fla. - Audrey Ackley Graves Arnado, 72, a former longtime resident of Rutland, died Sunday February 6, 2005, at the Raulerson Hospital in Florida. She was born January 8, 1933, in Newbury, Vermont, the daughter of Clyde R. and Guila (St. John) Ackley.
As a teen she was the first Cadet Captain of the Civil Air Patrol in Vermont.
She graduated from the Rutland High School.
She was a member of the Grace Congregational United Church of Christ and the Red Hat Society.
She relocated to Lakeport, Fla. in 2004.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Ben T. Arnado of Lakeport, FL; one daughter, two sons, a stepdaughter, two stepsons, two sisters,a brother, a granddaughter, several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a husband, George L. Graves; and two brothers, Myron E. Ackley and C. Russell Ackley Jr.
