Phillip J. Ackerman, 65, of 2604 Deior Ave., died Monday at Humana Hospital-Audubon.
He was a retired driver for the Yellow Cab Co., and a Marine veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, the former Marion Eisenman; two daughters, Gail and Diane Ackerman; a son, Mark Ackerman; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Brawner and Mrs. Ruth Hicks; and a brother, Chester Ackerman Sr.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 760 Eastern Parkway, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Mass of the Air.
