Obituary: Hubert Amos
Funeral services were held Oct. 17 for Hubert Amos, 80, of Big Pine following his death Oct. 14 at Inyo County Care Center. The American Legion Glacier Post 457 officiated at the service held at graveside; burial was in the Big Pine Crocker Cemetery. Mr. Amos was born August 20, 1894 in Texas. He is survived by his wife Jessie; two sons Jack L. Amos of Hayward and Glenn L. Amos of Chico; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
