Mrs. Norma Clar Archer, 92 of Morehead, Kentucky passed away Friday afternoon, August 20,2021 at St. Claire Healthcare in Morehead after a brief illness.

She was born November 11,1926 to the late Jackson and Dorothy Polley Clark.

Norma was a former employee of Cowden's Manufacturing and a member of the Adams-Plank Enterprise Baptist Church. She served as church Custodian and song leader for many years. She enjoyed singing, sewing, flowers, going to yard sales and raising a garden. She was a babysitter for sometime and enjoyed making baby quilts for everyone.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Archer, Jr., son, Larry Bruce Archer, daughter, Mona Carol Archer Tackett and four grandchildren; Amy Lee Tackett, Timothy James McCleese, Frankie Stacy and Kevin Archer. Brothers; Clyde Clark, Wayne Clark, and Kenneth Clark. Sisters; Eula Plank, Inez Waltz and Ruth Branham. Also a son-in-law. Don Adkins.

Survivors include one son Danny Ray Archer and his wife Debbie, three daughters, Mary Lou Adkins, Kathy McCleese and her husband Donnie and Beverly Charles and her husband Jeff, all of Morehead. one brother, Ruford "Rudy" Clark of Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Adams-Plank Enterprise Baptist Church, Cranston Road, Morehead with Brother Randall Wagoner and Elder Dustyn Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in the Adams-Plank Cemetery.

Visitation at the Michal R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 6:00 P.M. Monday.

Pallbearers will be Travis Archer, Kyle Archer, Korie Stacy, Barry Archer, Rick Logan, Cole Layton, Austin Maggard and Samuel Archer.
