Jason Eugene Branyon, 87, husband of the late Hazel Hiott Branyon, formerly of Williamston, died March 25, 2004 at NHC HealthCare in Anderson.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Arthur Monroe Branyon and Emma Lee McCurley Branyon. He was retired from Mount Vernon Mills and was a member of Whitefield Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, James Branyon, Paul Branyon, Ronnie Branyon, all of Williamston; daughter, Dorothy Mauldin of Williamston; brother, Malcolm Branyon of Anderson; sisters, Josephine Creamer, and Ollie Hiott, of Williamston; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 28 at Whitefield Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
