She was the first white child born in Foster TWP, Marion Co, IL.
Sarah "Sally" Foster, daughter of Hardy Foster and Mary "Polly" Jones, married William Doolen, Feb 26, 1840, Marion Co, IL.
They moved to Navarro Co, Tx before 1860 where he was one of the first settlers. He died in 1865 in Texarkana, Tx. She remained in Navarro County where she died. Information given by Mary Jo Freeman.
