Dorothy M. Altman, 81, widow of Robert Altman, died Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, in Graham Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Mr. Fred Ady. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Altman was born July, 29, 1925 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Ida Estelle Britt Howard and the late Belton Oneal Howard.

She was a retired nursing assistant who was formerly employed with Winyah Nursing Home and Georgetown Memorial Hospital. She had also worked in private duty nursing. She was a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are: two sons, Maxie Altman and his wife Elaine of Georgetown and Gwen Altman and his wife Maxine of Pawleys Island; one daughter, Gloria Jean Frasier of Easley; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 26 at Graham Funeral Home.

Mrs. Altman was predeceased by a son, Donald Wayne Altman.
