Ware Shoals- Dorothy Elledge Hines, 91, of NHC of Greenwood, died March 14, 2013. Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Lelion D. and Ann Rush Elledge Sr. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Ware Shoals High School and Limestone College. She was a former teacher and a homemaker. Surviving are: a son; Alan E. Ackerson of Ware Shoals, four daughters; Dinah C. Ackerson of California, Drexel A. Pearman and Delia Brownlee, both of Ware Shoals, and Vivian J. Ackerson of Texas, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Lelion D. Elledge, Jr., and a sister Vivian E. Ball. Graveside at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with her cousin, Lt. Col George Rush, USAF (Ret) officiating. Parker-White-Pruitt Funeral Home.
