Gloria A. Henderson, 86, died November 3, 2008. Gloria was born June 7, 1922. She was preceded in death by her husband James M. Henderson. Gloria was born in Metamora, Ohio. Gloria's career began as a model. She moved to Flagstaff and worked as the personal administrative assistant for Dr. Lawrence Walkup at Northern Arizona University. Gloria and her husband Jim's greatest passion were their horses. Gloria and Jim did not have children but were blessed with many friends and touched many lives with their cheerful attitude, helpful nature and the love of a good laugh. Gloria was an active member of the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Camp Verde. Visitation will be Thursday, November 13, 2008 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lazano's Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth Street, Flagstaff, Arizona 86004, Tel: (928) 774-1467. Graveside service and internment will follow at the Citizens Cemetery, Veteran's Section, 1300 S.
