LAKE CITY: Mr. Larry Ray Creel, 67, died Friday, September 20, 2013, at Carolinas Hospital System, Florence, after an illness.
Mr. Creel was born May 16, 1946, in Lake City, a son of Willa Maude Powell Creel and the late Alton Creel. He was a graduate of the South Carolina Police Academy and a retired Law Enforcement Officer. Larry was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Creel was predeceased by a brother, Darrell Creel; his maternal grandparents, who raised him, James "Whitty" Powell and Martha Ann Powell and his paternal grandparents, LeRoy Creel and Lillian Creel.
