Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 30 at Conger Chapel in Arcadia for Wayne Bryan, 39, who died in Gibsland Thursday, Dec. 28. Officiating at the service was the Rev. Harland C. Smith, pastor of Bryceland Baptist Church and the Rev. Orel C. Hoover, pastor of Gibsland Pentecostal Church, who assisted. Burial was in the Williamson Cemetery under the direction of Conger Funeral Home.
Survivors include his father, Pearce Bryan of Gibsland; one sister, Mrs. Eunice Caddenhead of Sheffield Texas; two brothers, Jessie Bryan of Decatur Ill. and Leroy Bryan of Gibsland.
