Mr. Acree was born on August 8, 1928 to Joe and Arvella Baird Acree in Wilson, Oklahoma. He was a Resident of Haynesville, La. for the last 50 years. He was a member of the first Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder. He graduated from Oklahoma University with a B. S. in Geology and warked for Halliburton Services for 35 years and was employed by Stallion Oil field Services at the time of his death. He was past president of Haynesville Chamber of Commerce, The Haynesville Country Club and a member of the El Dorado Arkansas Masonic Lodge. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp during World War II and the Korean War. Preceding him in death were his parents and his son Doug. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, one daughter, one son and three grandchildren.
