Wolcott: 84, a resident of the Wayne County Nursing Home since 2010, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013. Norma was born March 31, 1928 in the Town of Rose, a daughter of Nelson M. and Greta A. Shear Yancey. She retired after 30 years of employment from the North Rose Wolcott Schools as an Elementary School teacher. Predeceased by her son, Ronald J. Crane in 2007 and brothers, Nelson and Allan Yancey. Survived by her husband John P. Crane; granddaughter, Catherine of Washington, DC; sister, Beryl Valentine of Savannah and nephew, Mark Crane of Fairport.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday (Mar. 1) 11 am at the Wolcott Presbyterian Church. Spring burial will be in Butler Center Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Wolcott Presbyterian Church in Norma's memory. Arrangements are entrusted to Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, North Rose.
