Obituary:
Josephine Tregre Allemand, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 13, 2012. She was a faithful wife, loving mother, devout Catholic and retired Cafeteria Worker with St. Charles Parish Public School for 17 years.

She was the wife of the late Milton J. Allemand, Sr., mother of Aleta Schexnayder (Douglas), Rachel Allemand, Milton Allemand (Gail), Peggy Robichaux (Jerry) and Norbert Allemand (Regina), daughter of the late Emelia Lousteau and Antoine Joseph Tregre, sister of Nina Benoit, Virginia Benoit, George Tregre and the late Joseph, Dennis and Robert Tregre and Lucille Cortez. Grandmother of Joy, Kay, Renee, Milton, Rebecca, David, Matthew and Andrew and great-grandmother of Katelyn.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 8:00 am until 9:45 am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church in Hahnville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am with Fr. B. Francis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery in Taft.
