Birth: Nov. 19, 1843
Georgia, USA
Death: Jan. 19, 1927
Claiborne Parish
Louisiana, USA

D. R. Anglin, son of William S. Anglin and Martha Francis Trainum married Laura Jane Smith on 22 Jan 1874. Dock was a Civil War veteran. Joined Co. F, 8th Bn., Georgia Infantry on 12 May 1862 at Savannah, GA. Dock traveled west in a wagon train about 1870 from Gordon County, GA with his Brother David Sidwell Anglin (buried Tulip Cemetery, Claiborn Parish, LA), his married sister Fannie Morgan (buried Holly Grove Cemetery, Claiborne Parish, LA), and his brother John L. Anglin (buried in unmarked grave, Holly Grove Cemetery, Claiborne Parish, LA). There is no proof, but this may have been the wagon train organized by Evan Callaway Tate (cousin to Mary E (Tate) Anglin, Dock's sister-in-law) from Gordon County, Georgia to Tarrant County, TX.
