Died at 10:50 a.m. Sunday at his residence. He was 65, a resident of Plaquemine and a native of Addis. He was a veteran of World War II. Body at Wilbeht Funeral Home in Plaquemine with visiting from 1:30 to 10:30 p.m. Monday and from 8 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, Plaquemine, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Jules Brunett. Burial in Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris Baist Allain of Plaquemine; a daughter, Mrs. Doris Allain Pettus of Houston, Tex.; two sons, Frank Baist Allain and Earl Anthony Allian [sic Allain], both of Plaquemine; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Clement of Baton Rouge; and two brothers, Eugene Allain of Abbeville and Shirley L. Allain Sr. of Melville.
He was a member of American Legion Post 167, Plaquemine.
