Graveside services for Buddy Joe Adcock, 69, of Canyon Lake, Texas, were held last Sunday, October 3, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., at the San Marcos City Cemetery in San Marcos, Texas.

Buddy passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010, in San Marcos, Texas.

He was born on April 21, 1941 in San Marcos to Harold and Emma (Dottie) Adcock. He graduated from Ackerly High School. Buddy married the love of his life, Pamelia Lannette Freeman, on February 17, 1963. They had 47 wonderful years together.

Buddy was in the construction business for over 50 years, primarily in and around Austin. He loved to spend time on his ranch, hunting and fishing with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Pamelia; one son, Buddy Christopher, of Rockport; one daughter, Sharlese Lannette Adcock-Reynes and husband, Chris Reynes, one grandson, Chase Delaney Reynes, all of Buda; two brothers, Milton Adcock of San Marcos and Randy Adcock and wife, Verna, of Lamesa; two sisters, Juanita Briley and husband, Bill, of Luther and Patsy Zant and husband, Rex, of Ackerly; and many nieces and nephews.

Buddy was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Keisha Laneve.

He was greatly loved by his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
