William H. Anderson, 78, of Taylor died July 29, 2007.

He was the beloved husband of Katherine and the loving father of William C. Anderson.

William was a loyal member of Michigan United Conservation Clubs, MUCC Environmental and Solid Waste Committee, MUCC District 1 Chairman, Bi-National Public Advisory Council, Friends of the Detroit River, Friends of the Rouge River, Wayne County Sportsmen’s Club, GasCo Sportsmen’s Club and City of Taylor Solid Waste Commission.

Visitation is Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007 from 2-9 p.m. at the Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Rd. in Taylor. Rosary is Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. with funeral service to follow. Downriver Honor Guard service is at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment of cremains will be in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery in Beaverton at a later date. Please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association. Visit our online guest book at www.voranfuneralhome.com.
