Services for Mrs. Bertha Dahse, 63, pioneer of the Olney area were conducted from St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Dahse died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.M. Neimeyer, at Holliday after a four day illness.
She came to the United States at the age of 16.
She married A.T. Dahse in South Texas.
In 1917, the couple moved to Olney. After her husband's death in 1948, she went to live with her children.
Survived by two sons - E.H. Dahse of Bryan and Ed Dahse of Burlington; four daughters - Mrs. J.F. Bentley of Electra, Mrs. Neimeyer of Holliday, Mrs. A.A. Kunkel of Jean, Mrs. E.A. Kunkel of Olney; 30 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Rev. R.M. Brandt, pastor of St. Luke's Lutheran Church officiated.
