"Margaret Amodio, a retired seamstress for Brookmay, and lifelong area resident, died Sunday June 12, 2005 at the Campbell Hall Nursing Home. She was 82 years old.

The daughter of Louis and Rose Quattro, she was born December 11, 1922 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

She was the widow of Patsey J. Amodio.

Survivors include three sons: Chipper Amodio and his wife, Chickee, of Maybrook; Tommy Amodio and his wife, Michele, of Maybrook; and Richie Amodio and his wife, Mabel, of Maybrook; one sister, Mary Lown of Maybrook; five grandchildren: Tommy Jr., Patrick, Bernadette, Troy and Kristy; three great-grandchildren: Shane, Ryan and Jayson; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Louise Quattro, and a granddaughter, Dawn Amodio.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 15, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, N.Y.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 16 at 10:00 AM in the Church of the Assumption in Maybrook, N.Y. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Montgomery, N.Y.

Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's name to the Alzheimer's Association.

Arrangements were made by the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc."
