Irene L. Andolina of Middletown, co-owner of Bay Drug Co., Middletown, retired registered nurse and former resident of Corning, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, in Middletown Park Manor. She was 90. The daughter of Frank and Mary Mursett Luckner, she was born March 21, 1908, in Corning. She was the widow of Charles R. Andolina Sr. Mrs. Andolina was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Middletown. A family statement read: `We wish to celebrate the life of Irene. She was so full of love and kindness for her family, friends and the countless people she touched. Irene, you will always be remembered in our hearts.' Survivors include one son, Charles Andolina and his wife, Sally of New Hampton; one daughter, Sylvia Malarik and her husband, James of Greenville; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, Friday, Feb. 26, at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Ave., Middletown. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Euclid Ave., Middletown. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Middletown."
