Betsy C. (Costanzo) Adams, 86, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY.
Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Anna (Zucco) Costanzo.
Betsy was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.
On December 29, 1951, she married Richard B. Adams at St. Peter Episcopal Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Adams predeceased her on March 3, 1998.
From 1977 until 1991, Betsy worked in the Accounting and Billing Department for domestic and foreign sales at Life Technology on Grand Island. Following that, she was employed at Buffalo Custom Brokers in Buffalo, NY, and afterwards the Lewiston Queenston Bridge personnel department, until her retirement in the late 1990s. Betsy was a longtime active member of St. Peter Episcopal Church in Niagara Falls, as well as their Altar Guild, the E.C.W. (Episcopal Church Women) and Newsletter Committee.
Mrs. Adams is survived by one son, Timothy R. B. Adams of Power Springs, GA. She was the sister of Mary (Eric) Madson, Rose (Calvin) Coran, Saverina "Verna" (Theodore) Zucco, William Costanzo, Patricia (Simon "Benny") Shakarjian and Alfred (Mary) Costanzo; dear friend of Rose O. and Clark Lantz, and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
