The death of Mrs. George Aberth, Sr. aged 77 years, occurred on Tuesday evening at the Community hospital in Warsaw where she had been a patient for nearly two weeks suffering from a broken hip.
Mary Meyer, daughter of John and Margaret Meyer was born in Buffalo, Sept. 18, 1866. She married George Aberth of Buffalo on Jan. 11, 1886 where they made their home and where their children were own. In 1927 Mr and Mrs. Aberth came to perry Center to reside and purchase a home on North Main Street. They were a happy couple and hen able to do so took their place in the church services where they became members when they moved here. In recent years she has been rather shut in because of feeble health. Besides her husband, their even children survive, viz: Char. of Alhambra, Calif.; Lillian, Mrs. Wm. Thompson, Perry; Ella, Mrs. Al Troidl of Buffalo; Edna, Mrs. Fred Gassman of Buffalo; Marguerite, Mrs. Harry Robinson of Cleveland; Mar, Miss Herman Quisser of Eden and George Aberth, Jr. of Leicester; also twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. All of the children except Charles of California were with Mr. Abert on Friday when private funeral services where held at the Easton Funeral HOme in Perry. Interment was made at the Prospect Hill cemetery with their pastor, Rev. E. E. Merriam officiating.
