Post-Standard, The (Syracuse, NY ) - September 8, 1988Deceased Name: E. EVERETT AMIDON E. Everett Amidon, 89, of 3539 Amber Road, Navarino, died Wednesday at Community-General Hospital. A native of Skaneateles, Mr. Amidon lived on Amber Road 22 years. He was the former owner and operator of a farm and later was employed with Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards and New Process Gear Division of Chrysler Corp. Mr. Amidon was a member of the Otisco Lake Rod and Gun Club. Surviving are a brother, Theodore R. of Cortland, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Norris Funeral Home, Marcellus, the Rev. Leslie Strader officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Navarino. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 33 North St. Contributions may be made to the Pine Ridge Cemetery Association or the Navarino Fire Department.
