Ackerman October 1, 2005 Kenneth C. "Spider" Ackerman, 71, of Minoa, died October 1 at home. He was employed by Colonial Laundromat. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was a member and a deacon of the North Manlius United Church, and amember of Simon Parise VFW Post 9596. He is predeceased by his wife, Laurel 2003; and a son, Alton 1999. Surviving daughter, Dawn (Walter) Wood of Central Square; two sons, John (Diane) Lewis of GA and William Lewis of CA; four brothers, Lyle (Edna), Bruce (Grace), Carl, and Wendell (Marge); five sisters, Patricia (Anthony) Sojdak, Sandra (Vince) Potter, Linda (William) VanAlstyne, Paulette and Vanessa Kalette; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nephew, David (Carol) Gumbert of Niagara Falls, several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service Wednesday, October 12 at 10 a.m. at N. Manlius United Church on Adams Rd. Contribution in lieu of flowers maybe made to the family.
