Stanley G. Boduck, 65 years of age, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Boston and graduated from Saint Columbkille Elementary and High School in Brighton. Stanley was a licensed Master Plumber and the owner of Boduck Plumbing & Heating of Hull. He had resided in Hull for more than thirty years. He was a decorated Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Stanley received injuries in combat and was awarded the Bronze Star for valor and several additional medals. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Hull Chamber of Commerce. He grew orchids and was a member of the Orchid Society. He moored his powerboat at his home in Hull. He enjoyed fishing and boating. He was a communicant of the Saint Mary of the Assumption Parish in Hull | Saint Anns Church. He was also associated with the First Spiritualist Church in Quincy where he sought healing. Stanley was the beloved husband of Lorna J. (Reedy) Boduck. He is survived by his step-daughter Shannon (Harrington) Bjorkman married to Douglas Bjorkman of Braintree and their daughter, Hannah Elizabeth. Stanley was the brother of Lorraine Hughes married to Richard Hughes of Sharon. He was the brother-in-law of R. Scott Reedy of Braintree. He was the uncle of Linda DiStefano of Arizona and the late Rick Hughes, formerly of California. He is also survived by two great-nieces and a great-nephew. Stanley enjoyed a great relationship with his dog, Harley, who misses him. Visiting hours will be at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington St., Braintree, Monday , June 18, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. There will be a gathering at the funeral home Tuesday, June 19, at 9 a.m. to be followed by a funeral Mass in Saint Mary of the Assumption Parish | St. Anns Church, Samoset Ave. and Lewis St., Hull at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Hull Village Cemetery. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA. 22312.
