Victim of the Oklahoma City Bombing.
Dr. Clark was a veterinary medical officer with the Department of Agriculture. A wife and mother of three girls, she was active in 4-H and Future Farmers of America at her daughter's High School.
----------
Dr. Margaret L. (Peggy) Clark, 42, of Chickasha; wife of David R. Spencer; mother of Rosslyn, Blayne, and Chelsea; daughter of Mary Spurlin of Chickasha; sister of Susan Winchester of Chickasha; and Cindy Clark of Texas; veterinary medical officer, US Dept of Agriculture.

Peggy Clark was that rare friend who could tell you were having a bad day just by the sound of your voice. Insightful, fun, and big-hearted, said Dr. Lee Denney, a Cushing veterinarian and friend, "She always laughed until she came to tears." Observed lifelong friend Donna Smith, "When Peggy laughed, her whole face lit up, and her eyes twinkled. She just laughed with her whole face."
And she shared her love of life with her husband and her children. A graduate of Oklahoma State University's veterinary school, Peggy's other passion was big animals (as a vet-med student, she lived in a trailer with a St. Bernard, and she was once the official veterinarian for the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission at Blue Ribbon Downs). "She loved her horses, and she passed that love on to her children," said Lee. All three of Peggy's daughters began riding at a very young age, and the family was active in Ponies of America (David was a past president), a club for children in competitive riding.
Peggy sewed costumes for the girls' riding competitions, and she supported them in their soccer. "Whatever her kids were interested in, that was what Peggy was interested in," said Lee. Published in The Oklahoma Today, Winter 1996 issue.
