Wife of Paul J. Adamecz, Mother of: Marie, Paul, Jack, Beatrice, Regina, Jeannette, Lorraine, Helen, and Robert, 31 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Agnes lost her father when she was 17 years old, and her mother ran a boarding house to support the family. Agnes was very smart and was a secretary to the president at Hochschild and Kohn in Baltimore, even though she only went to the 8th grade. Deeply religious, Agnes very much wanted to become a nun. Once she met Paul Adamecz, an Army sergeant at Fort Meade, however, he succeeded in convincing her to marry him. The couple were very happy together until his sudden death of a blood clot in 1949. Agnes was able to keep her home and continued to live there until her death 45 years later, at the age of 95. She was very well loved in her family and in the community. She and her daughters worked on missions they had in the Philippines and due to their efforts, were able to have a church built there.
