Anna D. Alexander, former resident of Beachwood Drive, died Friday June 15, 2012 at Maysville Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility. She was born in Mason County and was the daughter of the late David and Ethel May Brooks. Mrs. Alexander was a cook at the Union Café, New Central Hotel and cooked for the late Virginia Kress in New York City. Anna Volunteered at Meadowview Regional Medical Center for several years and was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Washington Missionary Baptist Church. Preceding her in death was her husband Robert Alexander and her daughter Mary Elizabeth DeJanette.
