My father used the name Karl Alsleben. He survived two world wars and was a peace loving if somewhat idealistic man.
Although he did not hold a formal university degree he was very well versed in history. His special hobby was the famous german poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. My father had all Goethe's poetry books and took me to many places around Frankfurt where Goethe had his assignations with female friends.
My father worked for the Frankfurter Sparkasse and later for the Bundes Zentralbank. I am not sure what his job was but believe it is equivalent to Accounting.
Buried with my father are his first wife and also my mother Elizabeth Alsleben nee Bek
There are also a few other family members in this grave, which is designed to hold Urns
