|Death: ||Jan. 29, 1874|
Rebecca Tydeman's family has been traced back to the village of Earl Stonham in Suffolk to a man who was likely her 4th great grandfather, Edmund Tydeman, born in about 1610.
Robert Berry married Rebecca Tydeman on December 24, 1819 in Bury St. Edmonds, Suffolk. The Berrys moved to Southampton, Hampshire by the late 1830s where Robert established a thriving business as a brush maker and basket maker.
The Berrys raised a large family in Southampton. In addition to Sarah, whose grave is linked below, Robert and Rebecca Berry had the following children:
Mary Ann Tydeman Berry Sharp, 1821- ?
William Sutton Berry, 1823- ?
Elizabeth Berry Walter, 1825-1896
Ellen Berry Porter, about 1834-?
William Berry, 1836-1907
Edmund R. Berry, 1839-1879
Eliza Berry, 1841-1851
George Berry, 1843- ?
