According to another "FindAGraver," "(Wright Cemetery) is an abandoned cemetery east of Senatobia and north of Looxahoma. Robert and Minerva have at least three children buried there: Two younger sons, James G. Garrott 1852 - 1870 & Robert G. Garrott 1858 - 1873. A married daughter, Charity O. Garrott Meacham 1855 - 1879.
William B. Wright is also buried there. He married a sister of Robert C. Garrott. After his wife died, Wright married another sister of Robert Garrott.
This cemetery was obviously named after Robert Garrott's father, James Garrott and William Wright. James and Sophia Staples Garrott owned land all around this cemetery and possibly the land where the cemetery was located. I found them first recorded living in this area in 1842. By the 1860 Mississippi Agricultural Census, James and Sophia acquired 1600 acres in this area of the county. " (Thank you so much Gene!)
