A Lee County Native, She was Born May 28, 1923, to Willie Clark and Betty Marie Stovall Allen.
She was a 1942 Graduate of Plantersville High School and Married her Husband, Thomas Hursel Boozer, on October 17, 1942.
She Served as the Lee County Farm Bureau Women's Chairman and Loved Reading her Bible, Sewing, and Gardening.
She had a keen sense of Humor and enjoyed playing Practical Jokes on Friends and Family. She was the Oldest Member of Unity Presbyterian Church.
Services will be 2 P.M. Sunday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery, East of Plantersville. Rev. B.F. Lee will Officiate.
Survivors include two Daughters, Barbara Rushing and Husband, Willie, of Fulton; and Sherry Carter and Husband, Joe, of Plantersville; one Son, Randy Boozer and Wife, Mary Jo, of Talledaga, AL; five Grandchildren, Richard Rushing and Wife, Michelle, of Iuka; Traci Campbell and Wife, Brad, of Starkville; Brandi Lindsey and Husband, Tommy, of Pontotoc; John Hodges of Tampa, FL; and Jonathan Boozer and Wife, Brittany, of Talledaga, AL; four Step Grandchildren, Tim Carter, Paula Hall, Dewaine Smith and Cordelia Pope; and 13 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; her Husband, Thomas Hursel Boozer; her Son, Don Allen Boozer, who was killed in Vietnam on March 5, 1968; and her Sister, Rita Reedy.
Pallbearers will be F.B. Boozer, Robert Boozer, Emmitt Boozer, Grady Boozer, Bobby Reedy and Mac Reedy.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 P.M. today at the Funeral Home.
