HEREFORD - Rosie Mae Allen, 86, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008.
Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Parkside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. A.L. Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Bryant, the daughter of Sylvester and Elnora Green. She married the Rev. C.W. Allen in 1950 in Mexico. She was a homemaker and a member of Son Rise Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband and six brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a brother, John "Sonny" Green of Dallas; and a sister, Lillian Wilson of Desoto.
The family suggests memorials be to Son Rise Baptist Church, 502 Maple St., Hereford, TX 79045.
