Funeral services for James Kay Broome age 72. Were held Thursday, Aug. 9, 1979 in Spring Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Stan Weatherford officiating.
He died Aug. 8, was a native of Copiah County, a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and a retired carpenter.
Survivors are his wife Waymond Phillips Broome of Wesson; one son J. D. Broome of Jackson; one brother Clyde Broome of Wesson; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie McCardle of Hazlehurst and Mrs. Edna McCardle of Jackson; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Billy Broome, Gerry Broome, J. W. McCardle, Melvin McCardle, H. E. McCardle and Steve Amos.
Interments was in Springs Hill Cemetery with Stringer Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements
