Mrs. Adamson was born in Chicago and was a resent of Gulfport for 40 years. She was a member of St. Peters-By-The-Sea Episcopal Church and was retired nurse at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.
Violet was preceded in death by George Earl Adamson, her spouse; and a son, George Franklyn Adamson Sr. She was survived by Mary Lou Adamson, her daughter-in-law; a brother-in-law, William A. Galloway of Gulfport; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at St. Peters-By-The-Sea Episcopal Church with a private graveside service at Southern Memorial Park.
