Dorothy E. Askew, 79, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, AL. Mrs. Askew was a member of Oldham Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 25, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 26, at Oldham Baptist Church in Iuka, officiated by Bro. John Bray and Bro. Jeff Smith. The body will lie in state one hour prior to funeral service on Sunday. Interment will follow in Snowdown Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include a son, Steve Askew (Denise) of Romeoville, IL; a brother, William "Bill" Jackson of Iuka, MS; two grandchildren, Jason Askew (Susie) and Stefanie Rogers (Jason) and four great grandchildren, Paige Askew, Anthony Askew, Richard Rogers and Morgan Rogers.
