"Gregory Allen Applebury, 4-month old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Harvey Applebury of Dawn, died at 4 o'clock Sunday morning at the Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. The baby had been a patient at the hospital since Jan. 30.

In addition to the parents, he is survived by a sister, Debra Sue, 4, and a brother, James Rodney, 2. He also leaves maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Caselman of Meadville; paternal grandfather Emmett Applebury of Dawn; and paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Applebury of Bogard.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Dawn Baptist Church. The Rev. David Beall was the officiating minister. Burial was in the Monroe Cemetery." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, February 23, 1959
