When I (Liz Bearden Smith) asked family about Uncle Frank, the only responses were "He was a fat man that rolled his own cigarettes." I later learned he and Aunt Willie lived at 104 West Baker St. in Athens. He must have moved to be closer to his daughter in Houston after Aunt Willie died in 1960. From his death certificate - he had been a guard on a prison farm during his life. He was currently living in Precinct # 3 in Crosby, Harris County, Texas. He was D.O.A. at the Tidelands Hospital in Channelview, Harris County, Texas and an inquest was held. Cause of death: Congestive Heart Failure, due to arteriosclerotic heart disease.
