The son of Hester Leroy Breazeale and Lorene Adcock Breazeale. He died way too young.
SUNNY BREAZEALE KILLED IN TRUCK CRASH TUESDAY
Harold "Sunny" Breazeale was killed Tuesday morning when the pickup he was driving crashed into the gasoline pumps at the West End Service Station near the Glove Factory. The accident happened around 1:00 a.m. Young Breazeale was alone at the time.
According to the officers investigating the fatality, the young man apparently lost control of the vehicle which was traveling at a high rate of speed. The two gas pumps and an iron pipe were knocked down from the force of the impact. The pickup was completely demolished.
The body was carried to Daws Funeral Home, where it was prepared for funeral services, which were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Sand Hill Church with Rev. James Tynes officiating.
Young Breazeale is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beth Fleming Breazeale; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. (Shine) Breazeale; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Breazeale and Mrs. Sarah Ann Adcock; sister, Ann Clementine Breazeale, and a number of uncles and aunts including Mrs. C. J. Fleming of this city.
"Sunny" was a member of the Arlington High School 1953 graduating class and was a very popular young man among both the young and old of his community.
