Blanton Henry Hill Sr. was born to the late, Carey and Anna Franklin Hill. He settled his family just outside of Lima Okla, near the Seminole Oklahoma area. Two wives, Dovie and Iva, preceded him in death. His last wife, Bessie Hill survived him. Blanton became a Minister for his Lord.
He was often called upon to drive his Sisters to their destinations, around the area, and as far as Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Several of Blanton's siblings died before the move from Texas to Oklahoma. Sisters, Hattie Hardin, Georgia Blanton, Rosietta Patterson, and brother James Eugene Hill remained close. A Brother, Burl Sr., passed away in Oklahoma. His sister Beatrice Northernweather lived in California where she persued acting.
Children: Modesta Hill, James Hill, Blanton Jr., Elfreeda Hill Carter, and Deloris Hill Andrews.
Many Grandchildren, neices, nephews, step-children, other relatives also survives him. Blanton could often be found sitting on the porch of his Sister, Georgie, Sister Hattie on hers, laughing, talking about old times, the Bible, and the funny wild stories he could bring forth. He was a pleasure to be around, especially if you had a sense of humor. Blanton attended Church in Seminole, Ebeneza Baptist Church, but occasionally proclaimed the word in the First Baptist Church of Lima where his relatives were members.
