Funeral services were held for William Frank "Bill" Hayzlett, 61, of Lucedale, December 15, 2001, at 10:30 a.m. from Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

He was a native of Charleston, West Virginia, a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and an officer in the Shipman Volunteer Fire Department. A retired USAF SMGT with 22 years of service and a veteran of the Vietnam War, he died December 12, at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte A. Hayzlett of Lucedale, five children, Jeffrey W. (Tami) Hayzlett of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Susan (Jerry) Puckett of Elizabethtown, Ken., William D. (Jenny) Hayzlett of Loganville, GA and Benjamin D. Hayzlett and Paul L. Hayzlett, both of Lucedale; four grandchildren, Lindsey Hayzlett, Tyler Hayzlett, Erin Langdon and Zachary Puckett; a sister, Betty Rardon of Dunbar, West Virginia and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

A full military burial was observed at Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Wilkie Parker and Bro. Ricky Mitchell officiating the services.
