COLDWATER --- H. L. 'Bill' Alexander, 57, retired truck driver for Gordons Transport and Ryder PIE, died of heart failure Wednesday at his home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at C. O. Pate Funeral Home in Senatobia with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Independence. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a Mason with Coldwater Lodge. He was a past president of the Northwest Mississippi Shrine Club. Mr. Alexander, the husband of Johnnye Martindale Alexander, also leaves a son, Terry Alexander of Southaven stepdaughter, Phyllis Dancy, and two stepsons, Greg Keele and Gary Keele, all of Coldwater; a sister, Mary Ruth Lewis of Fort Worth, Texas, and four grandchildren.
