Mr. Brewer was a native of Mississippi and was a route salesman for Jackson Cookies.
Survivors include his wife, Juanice Dickens Brewer of Brooklyn; a son, William Brewer of Gulfport; four daughters, Diane Smith of Picayune, Barbara Willis of Pass Christian and Theresa Davenport and Jessie Marie Branch, both of Gulfport; three stepsons, Frank Bounds, Danny Bounds and Steve Bounds, all of Hattiesburg; three stepdaughters, Sandra Lott, Tammy Gros and Patricia Houseman, all of Hattiesburg; three brothers, Julius Brewer, Clyde Brewer and Oscar Brewer, all of Gulfport; four sisters, Elaine Odom of Poplarville, Ailene Smith of Waveland and Bonnie Jean Thompson and Betty Lou Williams, both of Gulfport; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Hattiesburg with burial in Grantham Cemetery.
