LETHA P. ATKINSON, 83, of Memphis, retired from Sears, Roebuck and Co., died of a brain tumor Sunday at Sycamore View Nursing Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown with burial in Friendship Cemetery in Como, Miss. She was a member of Speedway Terrace Baptist Church and a past worthy matron of Order of the Eastern Star 256 Oakville Chapter. She leaves two sisters, Pearl A. Irby of Enid, Miss., and Jessie A. Rollings of Saluda, S.C., and a brother, James R. Atkinson of Lilburn, Ga.
